Honda Navi Review | How Does an Automatic Motorcycle Feel?
I've never ridden an automatic motorcycle and I finally got a chance to do it at the Honda press event a few weeks ago. Quite honestly, this is a very low stress bike to ride. Highly recommended for around town rides, especially if you're a brand new rider.

In the community section, I created a poll about which brakes do you primarily use. More than 15% voted for the rear brakes. This means out of 8.8m motorcycle riders in the United States, 1.3m people need to learn to PRIMARILY use the front brakes and only under special occasions to use the rear. This is a staggering amount of people just in the United States alone! Imagine other parts of the w...

    Finally! This was what I was looking for. I tried to look up videos about this topic a few months ago, and a real life example of which gear to use and when, I managed to find just one, and it was a decade old video. Googling just gave the theoretical answer of 1st gear = 0 to 15, 2nd gear 15 to 30, etc. Could barely find a practical, real-world example Can you make a video with this same format on which gear is best for going uphill or downhill? Thank you.

    Strange, suggest to always put your right foot down, left on shifter. So you always able to shift in case you accidentally put it in Neutral or forgot to shift back to 1st gear when you stop. No need to use the rear brake when standing still... also in my country (EU) it's mandatory at motorexams to do so.

    Geezer riding this bike seems like most folk, in that they are not thinking logically. Because they cannot hear the exhaust, the manhood extension is missing in their heads. All a loud exhaust will do is alert any nearby or even distant law enforcement bogey 👨🏻‍✈with speed measuring equipment to hear you approaching, then consequently ban or ticket you if your lucky for speeding. Now isn't that crass stupidity when sensibly considered with a bike that will freely rev to 14,000rpm. It isn't about noise, it's about refinement coupled with discreet performance without needing to openly advertise it, then face the likelihood of possible prosecution for it!.

    • @PetroHead
      @PetroHead 4 дня назад

      You sound like someone that doesn’t have feelings.. an exhaust makes a bike sound amazing and makes you feel alive.. this isn’t need for speed where cops hear you coming and throw spike strips on the ground to catch you.. I have never heard any law enforcement go after people for an exhaust that aggressively lol whatever bro

      @@PetroHead What an utterly silly mindless comment to make, from someone who hasn't a clue about my personality. That is a narrow minded & judgemental comment to make about someone who actually has great feelings & a passion for bikes or cars coupled with an in depth knowledge of precision engineering. Trust me, some of my pals have been banned off the road for the very reasons I expressed, & because I like to responsibly use the power on hand without facing unnecessary prosecution, I choose to avoid such by being discreet when seeking the adrenaline rush. Sick to death of some idiots in cars or bikes with loud exhausts making as much noise as they can, while annoying folk with unnecessary noise pollution. Trust me, I can feel alive without having to make a lot of noise in having to broadcast it to everyone. My bike also revs to 14,500 red line, but I still feel very much alive from having made all the modifications on the induction side with increased CR coupled with valve throat & air box mods while retaining a standard exhaust. It is the induction where the real power gains are made in terms of volumetric efficiency which creates the most substantial power gains. And yes... whatever! lol :) .

  • @24james
    @24james 6 дней назад

    To me it depends on the bike you are riding, and the conditions you are riding in. So I don’t think there’s just one right answer. Myself, I use the front & rear brakes at the same time every time I ride. The emphasis of course is on the front as that is where most of the physics of braking are taking place. But I like to use the rear at the same time as I think it stabilizes the bike and shortens the overall braking distance.
